I can’t wait until I can post the complete entry for Lee’s Catfish. This is definitely my kind of place and potentially the prototype for my kind of place! I had lunch there today with Hooman and Hal. I have been eating here for many years and simply love it. Here is a picture from the outside.

Hopefully I can complete this post by early next week at the latest.

Looking forward to it…
I’d like to see the complete post. I can’t find it.
I don’t have the complete post for Lee’s Catfish. He hasn’t sat down with me to tell me the story. He is quite a character and initially didn’t like the idea of this website (he misunderstood it as a money making opportunity). I hope to have the story sometime next week.
Mr. Lee is quite the character indeed. It’s been years since I have been there, but keep meaning to stop back buy. I am somewhat convinced that Mr. Lee was the prototype for the soup Natzi. I used to work in the area years ago and Mr. Lee would rarely feed you what you ordered. Mr. Lee would say no that’s not what you want, you want this one, darn if he wasn’t right every time!
Rodney – You’re right, he does have some soup Natzi traits:) Welcome to EIHW.
Lee’s appears to be closed, or at least moved.
